The New England Center for OCD and Anxiety offers individual and group consultation and training for clinicians, behavior analysts, teachers, coaches, and organizations.

INDIVIDUAL & GROUP CONSULTATION

Lunchtime Online Series

Advanced OCD Consult Group (online with Lisa Coyne, PhD; 6 sessions; limit 8 participants): This group is for practitioners who see individuals with OCD regularly, and who dedicate a large proportion of their practice to these folks. Consultation modalities include ERP, ACT, HRT, with attention to the use of clinical RFT and behavior analysis. Group runs every other week, via Zoom. Group begins on Thursday, January 23, at noon EST, and runs for 1 hour.  Cost is $300.  *FULL-WAIT LIST ONLY

 

Advanced ACT Consult Group (online with Lisa Coyne, PhD; 6 sessions; limit 8 participants): This group is for practitioners who use ACT as a primary modality, or who are interested in doing so, and would like to use contextual behavioral science principles, including applied behavior analysis, to approach treatment.  Group runs every other week, via Zoom. Group begins on Thursday, January 31, at noon EST, and runs for 1 hour.  Cost is $300. *Limited space available

 

ACT-Informed Parent Training Consult Group for BCBAs (online with Evelyn Gould, PhD, BCBA-D;

6 sessions; limit 8 participants): This group is for behavior analysts that have a basic knowledge of ACT and are seeking to integrate this approach into their work with parents. The consultation group will focus on establishing and maintaining an effective therapeutic alliance and enhancing treatment outcomes with contextual behavioral science principles. Group meets bi-weekly, via Zoom. Group begins on Thursday, March 5th, at 12pm PST/3pm EST, and runs for 1 hour.  Cost is $300. *FULL-WAIT LIST ONLY

DNA-V Foundations Group for BCBAs (online with Evelyn Gould, PhD, BCBA-D; 6 sessions; limit 12 participants): This group is for behavior analysts interested in enhancing their practice with children and adolescents using ACT. Participants will read and discuss The Thriving Adolescent (Hayes & Ciarrochi, 2015) together as a group, and be supported to adapt and apply the model to their own clinical work and specific ABA treatment setting. Group runs every other week, via Zoom. Group begins on Thursday March, 12th, at 12pm PST / 3pm EST, and runs for 1 hour. Cost is $300.  *FULL-WAIT LIST ONLY

Exposure and Response Prevention Foundations Group (online with Lisa Coyne, PhD; 6 sessions, limit 12 participants): This group is for practitioners who are new to treating OCD and wish to have introductory training in ERP. Group runs weekly, via Zoom. Group begins on Thursday, May 7, at noon, and runs for 1 hour. Cost is $300.  *Limited space available

Individual Consultation: There are a few spots open for ongoing 1:1 consultation with Dr. Lisa Coyne or Dr. Evelyn Gould, which clinicians and BCBAs can find useful in shaping their work with individual clients and strengthening their clinical ACT, DNA-V, or ERP toolkit. 

WORKSHOPS

Online and In-Person Workshops

Praxis Workshops:  Dr. Lisa Coyne works with Praxis to teach an 8-session ACT/ERP workshop series called Stuff That's Loud with Ben Sedley. This class is currently full, but we will run it again in Fall 2020. The course is based on work from their book, Stuff That's Loud: A Teen's Guide to Unspiraling When OCD Gets Noisy, to be released in May 2020. 

Dr. Coyne and Dr. Evelyn Gould will also be releasing an ACT for Parents course in early Spring 2020 with Praxis - dates TBD.

Dr. Coyne regularly teaches workshops in the US and abroad, and is booking for 2020 and 2021.

Local Opportunities

In-Person ACT Consult Group: We offer a monthly ACT consult group on Sundays. This group will meet at 1:30, at 612 Main Street, Melrose, MA. Cost is $50 per group; if you would like to drop in, please RSVP as space is limited. Schedule for groups is as follows:
