Grace
Grace Hommel, LICSW, grew up in Connecticut and has remained true to the Northeast her whole life. She is now a full-time clinician at NECOA after graduating from Boston University’s Master of Social Work program. She completed her Master’s training working in a therapeutic school for adolescents with anxiety-related disorders, and at Boston Medical Center, treating victims of community violence. Before pursuing her Master’s, Grace spent four wonderful years working in clinical research at Yale University’s Child Study Center.
Grace has a background treating youth, including children, adolescents, and young adults who suffer from anxiety and related disorders, such as OCD. She also enjoys working with parents to provide guidance and skills for addressing childhood anxiety. Grace incorporates authenticity, empathy, and collaboration into her therapeutic relationships.
In her free time, Grace enjoys trying new recipes (and places!), reading fiction and spending time with friends and family.
