I am a neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of partnership and continuous collaboration, and I hold each individual’s right to self-determination in the highest regard. Together, we will establish treatment goals that are right for you and your unique needs, and your voice will always be heard. I have a passion for working with school-aged children, teens, and young adults seeking relief from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety conditions (including selective mutism), and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs; hair-pulling and skin-picking). I am committed to providing individually tailored, evidence-based care that builds upon my clients’ strengths. With empathy and compassion, I aim to create a safe, fun, and inclusive space for individuals to build a life they love.
My experience includes providing care across various levels of intensity, from outpatient to
intensive outpatient (IOP), residential, and inpatient settings. In 2017, I received comprehensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) at McLean Hospital’s Child and Adolescent OCD Institute (OCDI Jr.). During my time there, I served as a lead Community Residence Counselor/ERP Coach and Clinical Research Assistant. Following my time at McLean, I joined the New England Center as an Advanced Student Clinician, Behavior Specialist, and Clinical Research Coordinator. Additionally, I provided therapeutic care for adolescents and adults working towards eating disorder recovery at Walden. Currently, I am mentored and supervised by Dr. Lisa Coyne and Dr. Jason Krompinger as a full-time clinician.
In addition to my clinical work, I have co-authored various published works on topics including assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning in ACT, parent psychological flexibility and self-compassion, reducing psychological distress experienced by Latinx parents of autistic children, and the prevalence of microaggressions experienced by adoptees and fostered individuals.
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, playing board games, and playing tennis with family and friends.
100% of my practice focuses on OCD, anxiety, and related conditions.
