Meet Mack!

Mack (they/them/theirs) is a part-time therapist at NECOA. Originally from the east coast, they also spent several years living and learning in the Bay Area, CA. They completed their graduate clinical training at Smith College School for Social Work in 2016 and have provided psychotherapy to youth, adults, and families across school-based, outpatient, and community-based settings.

Mack is committed to and finds great enthusiasm in working with folks experiencing anxiety-related issues, including OCD, and those who identify as neurodivergent. Their favorite aspects of therapeutic work are cultivating authentic and meaningful relationships and supporting others in discovering and accessing what they need to thrive. Mack's interpersonal approach strives to uphold curiosity, thoughtfulness, and action around the intersection of their own identities and the identities and unique experiences of those they work with.

A solid day for them might include movement, podcasts/audiobooks, organizational projects, play, self-reflection, and engaging with others. They value interdisciplinary learning, sustainability, and embracing humor and gratitude in their life.
